Hey! I am totally obsessed with Okami for the wii as many of you may have noticed. It's easy to say that it's the best game i have ever played. but there is cheats that some may want to know. I'm sure the people who have had the game for a long time know this stuff already but if it happens that someone DOES NOT know this already plz read. feel free to ask questions about the game also. i will be putting up new cheats pretty much every week or so.

-DOUBLE BOMB TECHNIQUE- For this you must have the FIRST BOMB TECHNIQUE and be able to go to N. RIOSHIMA COAST. There are many islands around cat call tower as you may have noticed. THE SECOND ISLAND NEXT TO CAT CALL TOWER will have an area where you either have to DIG or USE YOUR BOMB TECH. (the digging must be up graded to master digger). there you will find A SMALL POND in a whole. throw in about 120,000 YEN and you will get your technique! (easy cheat)

-TRIPLE BOMB- This tech can only be retrieved if you have THE DOUBLE BOMB TECHNIQUE AND YOU HAVE MADE IT TO KAMUI. Once you have made it to kamui and you have gotten the gaurdian sapling to grow, go to the LEFT SIDE OF THE TREE. There you will see one of those blossom things THAT YOU CAN USE YOUR BRUSH TECH ON TO GET TO THE TOP of the area where the tree is. When you are at the top, BLOW UP THE LARGE ROCK WITH A SINGLE BOMB, then there will be 2 cracks behind it, YOU CAN ONLY BLOW THAT UP WITH THE DOUBLE BOMB. inside the cave offer around 200,000 yen and you will get your next tech. (bit harder cheat)

-RAIN BRUSH TECHNIQUE- THIS TECHNIQUE CAN ONLY BE USED IF YOU HAVE DEFEATED THE NINE TAILED FOX!!! go BEHIND QUEEN HIMEKO'S PALACE. There will be a woman standing next to a LARGE AREA OF WATER WITH HUGE STONES STANDING OUT OF IT. she will tell you about how this is the queen's grave and that you should CLEANSE it with some kind of water... i forgot the name of it. anyway USE YOUR WATER BRUSH TECH TO TAKE THE WATER FROM THE SMALL HOLE AND CLEANSE THE ROCKS WITH IT. (splash water on them). then you will get your new tech.(bit harder cheat)

-UP GRADED GALE STORM BRUSH TECHNIQUE- FOR THIS TECH YOU MUST HAVE THE GALE STORM AND N. RIOSHIMA COAST. Like i said in the other cheat, there are many ISLANDS around N. RIOSHIMA COAST. THE VERY LAST ISLAND has a MAN STANDING AT THE EDGE OF THE ISLAND. go up to him, and TALK TO HIM. you then will need to give him a marlin rod which you should have gotten in SEI AN CITY. fish until you CATCH A MARLIN. (the marlin will not be put in your storage to be sold) then, GO TO THE CHEF IN THE RESTURAUNT near the edge of the water. IN THE CHEFS ROOM THERE WILL BE A SCROLL THAT SHOWS A SURTAIN SIGN ON IT. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU SEE THAT!!!!!!! use your brush and copy it when the chef does his little dance thing and cuts up the marlin. not only do you get to have a nice bite to eat, but you get your technique too ^^. (this technique can be used on enemy's to damage them) (easy cheat)

-UPGRADED POWER SLASH TECH- There is an ISLAND in N. RIOSHIMA COAST that has a A ROCK SURROUNDED BY A RING OF POTTER. SLASH this rock and it will open a hole in the ground. DROP DOWN INTO the hole to find a DIVINE SPRING. You will be asked to give an offering. If you offer 60,000 YEN you will get the POWER SLASH 2 ABILITY. this makes it possible to CUT THROUGH THE REDDISH ROCKS, not the ones with crystal looking protusions. FOR THAT YOU WILL NEED POWER SLASH THREE. NOTE: i do not remember EXACTLY what island it was on... in fact i couldn't remember parts of the important stuff from this cheat so i had to look it up on 1up.com XD... DONT BLAME ME!!!!! .(bit harder cheat)

-2ND UPGRADED POWER SLASH TECH- For this POWER SLASH UPGRADE you will find another DIVINE SPRING IN EJOFUGI or something... i forgot the name... IT'S WHERE KAMUI IS OK! As you head up the trail to TUSKLIE'S HOUSE there is a spot where the TRAIL DOES A HARD CURVE to the RIGHT...almost at the top of the trail. If you look over the ledge you will see a PEICE OF LAND YOU CAN DROP DOWN TO. Power slash the REDDISH ROCK and drop into the hole it leaves. This Divine spring requires AN OFFERING OF 360,00 YEN. there you get your upgraded power slash. with this you can destroy the ROCKS WITH THE CRYSTL IN IT. have fun!

-LIGHTING BOLT TECH- for this tech you must HAVE THE CAT TECH THAT YOU GET FROM CAT CALL TOWER (sorry i forget names allot). in SHINSHU FEILD, the is a dude named IDA who you can race. (you will need to give him a travelers charm first). RACE HIM 3 TIMES AND WIN, and he will give you THE GIMMICK GEAR.(you can only race every few events in the game, you can only race him for that last time AFTER you defeat THE NINE TAILE FOX) after you have done this, go to SAI- AN CITY (ARISTOCRAT AREA). there will be a very noticeable tower. (it's TALL). go behind it and there will be a cat statue that you can use your tech on. CLIMB UP THE TOWER until you get to the very top and you see a door. inside there's some crazy scientist dude that you will NEED TO GIVE THE GIMMICK GEAR TO. then you shall gin the lightning bolt tech.(bit harder tech) NOTE: this technique can be used to attack enemy's or destroy things. (i enjoy destroying things myself X3)

... ok this last cheat will be known by almost every one that reads it. but recently i was asked allot about... how to defeat the last boss... yeas i now, it's a weak cheat... but oh well, deal with it.
-LAST BOSS, YAMI- THERE ARE 5 LEVELS TO THE BOSS YAMI. 1st level, ll your skills will be taken away by yami, (sucks huh). ONCE YOU ATTACK YAMI ANOUGH TIMES, HE WILL COUGH UP REJUVINATION. then you attack him and he will keep on coughing them up until you defeat his first level. 2nd level, he turns into a larger firie ball. continue what you di in his last level but in this one, he will be showing a small ball with some sort of fish like thing in it. attack it and you will defeat him. 3rd level, he will turn into a giant electric thingy... same thing but this time he will be showing swords that require zapping them. once you have zapped him he will reveal the orb fish thing. hit him until this level dies. 4th level, is probebly the fun one. this time it will turn into a giant slot machine! xD (for people who like gambling the fate of the world i guess...) use the power slash tech to stop the slots. if you get three orbs in a row then the orb fish thing will be revealed. if you get this that shoot out at you then you can use your power slash on it and it will go flying back at the enemy. once you have hurt him enough he will cough up the slow mist thing. (use this when he begins to spin. this will slow him down and make it 5 times easier to kill him.) 5th level, can't tell you too much about his level. but he will transform into a giant hand. and now, because i don't wanna spoil the last part of the game, and I'm very lazy, gooddbye.


-STRAY BEADS- If you collect all 99 of all the STRAYS BEADS, you will obtain a VERY RARE ROSARY. So, here are a couple of CHEATS to help you find them.

This stray bead is in the GALE SHRINE. Go to the ELEVATOR that is ACTIVATED by a CHERRY BOMB. then, without GETTING IN THE ELEVATOR, use a CHERRY BOMB on the FIRST FLOOR. This will uncover a new ROOM under the FIRST ONE. Jump down before the ELEVATOR arrives BACK DOWN, and you will find the STRAY BEAD, along with a ZODIAC STATUE (read more to learn about ZODIAC STATUES)

The next STRAY BEAD is also in the GALE SHRINE. ONLY OUNCE YOU ARE ABLE TO GO INTO THE WUWAKU SHRINE MAY THIS WORK. Ounce entering the SHRINE, go RIGHT into the cave where you FIRST FOUGHT THE CHIMERA. There you shall met up with PRINCESS FUSE, who will talk a little while, then ask you to FIGHT THE CANINE WARRIORS. Fight the warriors, but may i mind you, that you must fight 4 of them at a time, and it's much more difficult for less experienced players. BE SURE TO STOCK UP ON EXORSISM SLIPS. ounce you have defeated all 8 of the CANINE WARRIORS, she will then present you with the STRAY BEAD.

This cheat involves obtaining the MIST WARP TECHNIQUE from the emperor. Ounce you have done so, go to the closest MEMORY MIRROR THAT HAS MARKING ON THE MIRROR, and warp over to an area in N.RYOSHIMA COAST, called "N. RYOSHIMA COAST ROCKY AREA". Ounce you have warped, there will be two TREASURE CHESTS, one holds THE STRAY BEAD, and the other holds a SILVER POCKET WATCH, which can be sold for a VERY LARGE AMOUT OF YEN.

To obtain this next STRAY BEAD, go to the CITY CHECK POINT. Go half way through the bridge, and look up, where you will see a BLOSSOM. Use the VINE TECHNIQUE to go through all the other BLOSSOMS, (half way through you will find a DRAGON STATUE, SO BE SURE TO LAND HALF WAY THROUGH THE BLOSSOMS ON A LARGE ROCK.) finally you will find a rock surrounded by TORCHES, where the stray bead lies.


DO THE SAME AS AS DONE IN THE 3RD STARY BEAD CHEAT, but instead, you use the mist warp in EJOFUJI "ROCKY AREA" (this is only at the very end of the game) there you will find the STRAY BEAD, and a SILVER POCKET WATCH.

in SEI-AN CITY (commoners quarters) There is a LITTLE GIRL standing around OTHER GIRL'S. Talk to her, and buy the CHARCOAL from the shop. ounce HANDED TO HER, she will begin to DRAW ON THE GOWND, that means she has her INSPIRATION back. So, you then talk to her, and a FLOWER WILL APPEAR AS A THOUGHT BUB3 more BLE ABOVE HER HEAD. Now go to the KIMONO shop, and talk to MR. CHICK. Then draw on the KIMONO. Draw TWO CIRCLE RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHE, THEN TWO RIGHT UNDER IT, then turn it off. if something that MR. CHICK says is HIGHLIGHTED in RED, then that means that you showed an ACCURATE image, if not continue until you get it right. Ounce you have the CORRECT IMAGE, go to talk to the LITTLE GIRL, who will then give you another IMAGE to draw, and then 3 more after that. (they get harder to draw every time) finally, ounce you have done them all, go to the LITTLE GIRL, and OBTAIN your STRAY BEAD.

- DID YOU NOTICE ME MENTION ZODIAV STATUES?- well, first rule, IF YOU GET A ZODIAC STATUE, NEVER EVER SELL IT. ounce you have collected all 13 of these statues, you will get a special reward!!
